The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cancelled elections in two more local government areas in Rivers State following irregularities.
The local governments are Etche and Asaritoru.
Some of the reasons adduced by INEC for the cancellation include non-compliance of electoral laws, snatching of ballot boxes and violence.
The electoral umpire had already cancelled elections in four local governments on Saturday, the day the rerun poll was conducted.
