Portugal’s football icon and Al-Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said that winning the FIFA World Cup should not be the defining factor in determining who is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in football history.

Speaking during a new episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, the 40-year-old forward argued that greatness in football should be measured by consistency, longevity, and overall contribution to the game, not by the outcome of a single tournament.

“It’s not a dream for me to win the World Cup. To define what? To define if I’m one of the best in history? To win one competition with six or seven games? You think it’s fair?” Ronaldo told Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Ronaldo, widely regarded as one of the most accomplished players in football history, has lifted nearly every major trophy in his illustrious career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, a European Championship with Portugal, and five Ballon d’Or awards. The World Cup, however, remains the only major title missing from his collection.
