Popular Nigerian comedian Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, widely known as Sabinus, has confirmed that his marriage to Ciana Chapman has come to an end.
Okay News reports that the skit-maker made the disclosure during a recent TikTok live session, putting months of public speculation to rest.
Sabinus, who formalised the union in 2023, told viewers that the relationship ended amicably and without acrimony.
He stressed that he and his former wife remain on good terms and continue to prioritise their daughter’s well-being above all else.
Addressing the widespread rumours that had circulated online, including allegations of infidelity and domestic violence, the comedian dismissed the claims, stating clearly, “I’m not married. My marriage ended peacefully. The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she is doing fine.”
The confirmation marks the first time Sabinus has publicly acknowledged the separation, despite months of speculation and conflicting reports across social media.
Both parties had previously denied any marital crisis, leading to confusion among fans and media observers.
