Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has signed the 2019 budget into law.

Okay.ng understands that the N873.532 billion budget was signed on Monday after so many controversies between the executive and legislative arms in the state.

The budget breakdown shows that 45% (N393,841,387) it will be dedicated to recurrent expenditure while 55% (N479, 691, 775) is to be utilised for capital expenditure.

The approval came more than 80 days after Akinwunmi Ambode, the former governor, presented the bill following months of face-off between the executive and the legislature.
