The Senate President Bukola Saraki has entered into a closed-door meeting with a former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) at his Minna hilltop residence, Niger State.
OKAY NIGERIA gathered that the senate president arrived at Minna airport around 4:00 pm and went straight for the meeting 20 minutes after.
Details of the motive for the meeting is sketchy, however, pillars close to the due believe that the senate president has gone to report President Muhammadu Buhari to the IBB over what he described as a threat to democracy.
Recall that on Monday, operatives of the State Security Service had invaded the premises of the National Assembly in a purported move to facilitate the impeachment of the senate president, a development that made Mr Saraki call for a world press conference today.
