The Chairman of Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Justice Danladi Yakubu Umar, on Wednesday granted the adjournment of the trial of senate president Bukola Saraki to April 18 after lights went off from the generator and with no public power supply.

Both counsel for Federal Government and Saraki sought an adjournment.

The tribunal finally adjourned to the new date instead of the two weeks earlier requested by Saraki’s counsel.
