And that’s how Lagos people are creating new rivalry between rapper Olamide (aka Baddo, Badoo) and Wizkid, a new discovery made by Daddy Freeze who visited one of the local markets to buy chicken.

“I went to the market today to shop for fresh chicken and Guinea fowl only for me to make an amazing discovery!” The OAP wrote on Instagram yesterday. “Little scrawny chickens are called ‘WIZKID’ while big fat chickens are called ‘BADOO‘,” he said, and to prove this, she shared a video from the trip.

Recall that Olamide is crowned the King of the Streets, a phrase used so many times, especially during his feud with Don Jazzy. For Wizkid, who sang about Ojuelegba ‘knowing his story’, he was floored after comedian Tee A took to the streets to verify that claim. Sadly, of all those interviewed, only one person could recall the young Wizkid’s attempt at music. You can watch the clip here.

Chai.

Wizkid may have gained global credence, but in Lagos, Olamide is King, and Lagosians are enforcing the YBNL boss’ kingship in the most inane things, like chicken. Watch the hilarious clip
