Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, representing Bayelsa East senatorial constituency at the National Assembly, on Wednesday offered what he called “common sense advice” to President Muhammadu Buhari on his appointment of ministers.

The senator’s advice includes necessary steps the president must take in the area of transportation and the health sector, and also touches on the economy, youth development and education.

Murray-Bruce dishes some vital points. Kindly peep below:

1-As President @MBuhari is set to have his ministers, it's expedient that I give him my Commonsense advise for his cabinet.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

2-If President @MBuhari wants Nigerian roads fixed in record time, he must ban his minister of works from traveling by air within Nigeria.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

3-If President @MBuhari wants Nigerian hospitals to improve, he must ban his minister of health from seeking healthcare outside Nigeria.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

4-If President @MBuhari wants his minister of finance to stabilize our economy, he should choose a man with no assets outside Nigeria.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

5-If President @MBuhari wants an effective minister of Youth, he should ensure that his nominee is a youth. A youth is one between 18-42.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

6-If President @MBuhari wants Nigeria's education sector to improve, his minister of education's kids should school in Nigeria.

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015

7-The point is that unless @MBuhari's ministers are fully invested in the sector they administer they'll only give partial commitment!

— Ben Murray-Bruce (@benmurraybruce) October 7, 2015
