Senate Dumps Anti-Social Media Bill

The Nigerian senate has thrown out the anti-social media bill otherwise known as Frivolous Petition Bill.

The bill which was sponsored by Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah was thrown out at the plenary today May 17th, after the senate received the Report of the Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights & Legal Matters that examined the legality of the bill.
