Nigerian Senate today received the report of the Committee on Appropriation on 2016 budget for consideration after many weeks of postponement.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Danjuma Goje laid the report on the floor of Senate for consideration .
Budget debate which was listed as item 3 on the Order Paper was laid by the Chairman, joint Committee on Appropriations, Senator Danjuma Goje before the formal announcement of the demise of Hon. Onwana by the Senate Leader, Ali Ndume.
The Senate, thereafter adjourned sitting to tomorrow in honour of the demise of Representatives Musa Baba Onwana of the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency of Nasarawa state.
