Senate Shifts EFCC Boss, Ibrahim Magu’s Confirmation To December 15

NIGERIAN SENATE


The upper chambers of the National Assembly of Nigeria has rescheduled the screening of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, to Thursday, December 15.

Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, who presided over a session of the upper legislative chamber, disclosed this on Wednesday.

According to him, the board members of the anti-graft agency would also be screened. They are Nasule Moses, Lawan Maman, Garandaji Imam Naji and Adeleke Adebayo Rafiu.

Confirming this in a tweet on the Senate’s official Twitter handle, @NGRSenate.

We will screen @officialEFCC chairman and other @officialEFCC Nominees on Thursday 15th December at 11am. Formal letter sent to EFCC
