By Farouk Mohammed

Serena Williams has said she would monitor her ankle after surviving a scare in her win over her sister Venus at the 2018 US Open.

Venus was beaten 6-1 6-2 by her younger sister in their 30th career meeting and she said Serena played ”untouchable tennis.”

Serena who described it as her best performance since her return from pregnancy revealed that she will be monitoring it on Saturday ahead of her last-16 game with Estonia’s Kaia Kanepi.

“I actually roll my ankle a lot so I was trying to get it as taped as much as I could and we’ll see how it is tomorrow,” she said in her on-court interview
