Maiduguri, NIGERIA — Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, on Friday afternoon for a series of official and social engagements at the invitation of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

In addition to the official commissions, the Vice President will serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the wedding fatiha of Governor Zulum’s children, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 18, 2026.
