Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shi’ites have declared they are ready to die for the release of their spiritual leader, Sheik Ibrahim El-zakzaky.

They made this declaration in Abuja on Tuesday as they virtually took over the streets of the metropolis of the central Business District of Abuja.

“We are ready to die for Elzakzaky. We will not back down until our leader and his wife are released. We are ready to die for El-zazaky.”

Okay Nigeria recalls that El-zakzaky who has been in detention since 2015 is facing trial for alleged murder, culpable homicide, unlawful assembly, and disruption of public peace, among other charges.
