A former Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Mr. Simon Achuba has just been sworn in as Deputy Governor of Kogi State, replacing James Faleke who made himself unavailable on January 27, 2016 when Alhaji Yahaya Bello was sworn in as Governor.

Achuba, who was sworn in as Deputy Governor on Tuesday afternoon had served as Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly between 2003 and 2007.
