Nigerian singer songwriter Asa spoke to Bloomberg TV Africa about her 2014 album Bed of Stone and how it was made.

Asa, 32 revealed she had completed an album before Bed of Stone but she doesn’t feel ‘right’ about the album so she convinced her record label boss to throw the album in the bin. For the album, Asa traveled to different city and town to gather inspiration but still ended up ditching it.

She later went to Sussex, Englad to write a new album which ended up being released – ‘Bed of Stone’. The singer also added that Angelique Kidjo inspires her career and she is the realest artiste she’s met all her life.
