Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has shared a humorous anecdote about his encounter with Big Brother Naija reality star Nengi Hampson, expressing admiration for her while injecting some playful banter into the mix.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Spyro reminisced about a recent interview where he was asked which female celebrity he would avoid being alone with. In a light-hearted response, he jokingly mentioned Nengi, attributing his cautiousness to his stance as a follower of Jesus and wanting to avoid temptation.
“An interviewer recently asked me, which female in this industry would you never allow yourself to be left in a room with? Guess who I named? That would be NENGI. I no de like de too form like say I be JESUS, I am just his BOY, I ain’t him. So I FLEE FROM EVERY APPEARANCE OF NENGI make dem no go get me,” he wrote.
Spyro continued to narrate an amusing incident where he found himself seated opposite Nengi at an event. In a comical tone, he shared how he kept rebuking any perceived temptation until he felt the need to make a quick getaway.
“Humnnnn…. Naso I jam her for one show, she sat right opposite me and I kept rebuking the devil to leave my head till I had to run,” he added.
