In a move characterized by its understated nature, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has quietly obtained his expression of interest and nomination forms at the APGA National Secretariat in Abuja. The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has since completed its screening process, clearing him to contest the party’s primary election, okay.ng reports.

This discreet acquisition of forms precedes the upcoming primary, scheduled for April 5, 2025, where over 3,260 delegates will select the party’s candidate. The APGA National Working Committee, under Ezeokenwa Sly Jr., confirmed Soludo’s eligibility, citing his “proven track record of performance.”

Soludo’s quiet approach to securing his nomination contrasts with the often-publicized activities of other political figures. Nevertheless, his clearance positions him as the frontrunner, seeking a second term based on his administration’s achievements.

The APGA leadership has highlighted the smooth and peaceful nature of the screening, reinforcing the party’s commitment to democratic principles. Party members and supporters express optimism for the primary and the future of APGA’s governance in Anambra State.
