Unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted the son of the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Ndowa Laale.

Public Relations Officer of Uniport, William Wordi disclosed this to the media in Port Harcourt.

Wordi said the VC’s son, Ejiru Laale was kidnapped around 7pm Monday night in his father’s home at Ebubu, Eleme in Rivers State.

The Police in the state are yet to confirm the abduction.
