The convener of the #RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore, will on Monday stand trial on a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony and money laundering.

The Department State Service (DSS) had since August 8 arrested Sowore, just some days to his planned #RevolutionNow protest.

But, Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court Abuja asked the DSS to release Sowore following the expiration of an order to keep him for 45 days.

The DSS has yet to comply with the order to allow Sowore to enjoy his freedom.
