Spain have won the 2017 Copa Lagos Beach tournament after beating Nigeria 6-5 in the final on Sunday.

The Europeans went two goals up in the first half in the game played at the Eko Atlantic City.

However, Emeka Ogbonna and Victor Tale leveled things up for the Sand Eagles.

Abu Azeez then beat Spain’s Christian in goal to give Nigeria the lead.

As the game wore on, Christian made it 5-4 for the Europeans, after Eduard had made it 4-4.
Hat-trick

Eduard later scored his hat-trick two minutes from time.

Azeez then netted a late consolation goal.

Nigeria had on Friday defeated Morocco 7-6 before beaten Lebanon 9-8 on Saturday to set up a clash with the Spanish side, who defeated Lebanon 7-3 and Morocco 8-5 respectively.

Earlier, Morocco defeated Lebanon 2-0 in the third-place match.
