A male suicide bomber detonated explosive devices at a restaurant in Yobe commercial town of Potiskum, killing self and three others.
Sources said the bomber had walked into the restaurant located along Damaturu Road like other customers unknown to the owner he was a Boko Haram bomber.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Toyin Gbadegesin, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident to some journalists in Damaturu,
He said the incident occurred at about 2:20pm, adding that 12 people were injured in the blast. He also disclosed that the corpses of the deceased had been deposited at the Postiskum General Hospital mortuary.
A source at the hospital said the injured persons were already receiving treatment.
