The Sultanate Council of Sokoto has provided telephone numbers to report the sighting of the new moon of Shawwal if it is sighted anywhere in the country on July 16.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, Sultanate Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, Prof.Sambo Wali and distributed to journalists in Sokoto Wednesday.
