Super Eagles head coach Augustine Eguavoen has revealed the squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Libya.

The list includes some familiar names like Captain William Ekong, Moses Simon, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, and Chidera Ejuke.

Notably absent from the squad is Victor Osimhen, who misses out due to injury, while defender Bright Osayi-Samuel makes a return to the national team. The Super Eagles are set to face Libya in a crucial home-and-away fixture, with the first match scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria, on Friday, October 11, before traveling to Benghazi for the return leg on Tuesday, October 15.

The invited players are expected to report to the team’s camp in Uyo on Monday, October 7.
