Foreign based Super Eagles players hare storming the Nigerian camp ahead of the crucial 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Chad.

According to the NFF website, seven out of the 15 invited foreign based players have arrived Abuja.

Ogenyi Onazi, Steven Ukoh, John Ogu, William Troost Ekong, Babatunde Michael, Anderson Esiti and Jude Ighalo have all arrived camp as at the time of this report.

The rest of the 15 players invited are expected in camp.

In other related news, Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has retained eight home based players in camp ahead of the June 13 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad.

The players retained are:

Goalkeepers: Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

Defenders: Azubuike Egwuekwe,Solomon Kwambe and Chima Akas.

Midfielder: Bright Onyedikachi, Strikers Gbolahan Salami and Okechukwu Gabriel.

Keshi said the retained players would be joined by the fifteen invited foreign based professionals for the final phase of preparations for Nigeria’s opening 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kaduna next weekend.
