Nigeria remain on the same spot at number 66 in the latest FIFA rankings for the month of January released on Thursday.

The three-time African champions were adjudged the same rank in the world according to the ranking released in December 2015.

With this, Sunday Oliseh’s men remain 14th in Africa behind Cote d’Ivoire, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Cameroon, Egypt, Congo DR, Uganda, Mali.

The Elephants are the best team on the continent with 950 points which put them in the 19th position in the world while Algeria are second in Africa and ranked 28th in the world.

Ghana stays third on the continent after amassing 766 points which places them in the 33rd spot in the world. Belgium remains top of the table, while Argentina and Spain have also held onto their respective second and third positions.
