Suspected gunmen raze down Imo High Court

An unspecified number of suspected gunmen, have reportedly burnt down the high court of Orlu, Imo State, with files and record books all gone in flames.

This is coming days after the attack on the INEC Headquarters in Imo state.

Sources revealed that the evil act was perpetuated last night at the Orlu High Court complex.

Okay.ng gathered however, that the Magistrate court was not affected, although the complex houses both the Magistrate Court, and the High Court.

Confirming the unfortunate incident to BarristerNG, the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA Orlu Branch, Barnabas Munonye Esq. stated that ‘nothing was spared.

This development has automatically crippled legal practice in Orlu high court.
