The mother of the man who jumped from Third Mainland Bridge to Lagos Lagoon claims the body recovered was not her son’s.

Dr. Allwell Orji, who was said to have tried to take his life on several occasions finally succeeded when he jumped into the Lagos Lagoon on the Third Mainland Bridge a couple of days ago.

The Marine policemen reportedly recovered his body and the next thing would be to have his family over to identify the body.
Speaking on this latest development spokesperson for the Zone 2 Police Command, SP Dolapo Badmos had this to say, “The mother has come to identify the body recovered, but she said the deceased was not her son.”

The identity of the recovered body is as yet unknown or perhaps it’s a case of a mother suffering from denial.
