Theo Walcott and Santi Carzola have signed new deals with their club, Arsenal,

The Three Lions forward signed a new four-year deal while Santi Cazorla has also extended his stay but the details, undisclosed.

The 26-year-old, who is Arsenal’s longest-serving player, entered the final year of his contract this summer but boss Arsene Wenger revealed on Sunday that an agreement over an extension was edging closer.

And now Walcott has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until June 2019, while Cazorla has also spurned interest from Atletico Madrid to commit his immediate future to the club.

“We’re delighted to have extended the contracts of Santi and Theo. Both are top quality players who are hugely important and influential to our squad,” Wenger told Arsenal’s official website.

“As well as their huge contributions on the pitch, they both have a great deal of experience and are very popular off the pitch. We’re very pleased with them both signing contract extensions, as it provides our squad with further stability of quality.”
