Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has assured Boko Haram victims in the country that the government hasn’t forgotten them.

Osinbajo also said that President Muhammadu Buhari would ensure that everything was done to resettle them back in their homes.

The Vice President made the comments on Thursday, July 2, 2015, during a visit to Internally Displaced Persons and victims of terror attacks in Yola, Adamawa State.

“The President asks me to say to you that there is hope, great hope. That the Federal Government under his leadership will ensure everything is done to provide for you and resettle you back to your homes, your work, your businesses and your places of worship,” Osinbajo said, according to a statement issued by the Presidency.

“But you have to be patient, you have to be patient. As you know, the government has very little money. We are running after all the money everywhere, so that we can use it to serve you,” he added.

Osinbajo also assured the victims that Buhari has them in mind every day.
