President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of ACM Shehu Mohammed as the new Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Okay.ng reports.

The appointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, dated May 20, 2024. The letter stated that the appointment is in accordance with Section 7 (1) of the Federal Road Safety Commission Act, 2007, and takes effect from May 20, 2024.

Shehu Mohammed succeeds Dauda Ali Biu as the Corps Marshal of the FRSC.
