By Adamu Abubakar Isa

KIGALI, Rwanda – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum, the continent’s premier gathering for private sector leaders and policymakers.

Okay News reports that the President was received at the Kigali International Airport on Wednesday by a high-level delegation, including Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, and Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda. Also present were the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed.

The forum, co-hosted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is centered around the theme: “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.” President Tinubu is slated to deliver a keynote address titled “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World,” where he will defend the long-term gains of his administration’s bold economic shifts amid global instability.

Beyond his scheduled speech, the President will engage in strategic bilateral meetings with global business titans and investors to reaffirm Nigeria’s attractiveness as a destination for cross-border capital. The summit serves as a platform for the President to advocate for deeper regional integration and private sector-led sustainable development, reinforcing Nigeria’s role as a central driver of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) goals.
