President Bola Tinubu has congratulated President-Elect Mahamat Déby of Chad on his election victory.

In a statement on Sunday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, President Tinubu praised the successful conduct of elections in Chad, underscoring the country’s commitment to democracy and orderly transitions.

He assured President-Elect Déby of Nigeria’s continued cooperation and support, seeking to enhance peace, security, and shared prosperity for both nations.

President Tinubu wished Déby success in his new role, leading the people of Chad.
