London, UK – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his congratulations to the Muslim faithful in Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan. He used the festive occasion to urge citizens to renew their commitment to the nation and to humanity.
Okay News reports that in a statement issued on Thursday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President enjoined Muslims to rededicate themselves to the noble teachings of Ramadan.
He emphasized the importance of carrying forward the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness, and compassion well beyond the fasting period.
The President further encouraged all Muslim faithful to extend a hand of kindness to the needy across all faiths to foster greater unity and camaraderie.
Additionally, he tasked Islamic leaders with using the occasion to offer continuous prayers for lasting peace and prosperity throughout the country.
