President Bola Tinubu is set to swear in seven newly appointed ministers on Monday, November 4, 2024.

The ceremony will take place at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

The announcement was made on Sunday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, via his X account.

The new ministers, confirmed by the Senate on October 31 after a screening process, include:

  • Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda – Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
  • Muhammadu Dingyadi – Minister of Labour and Employment
  • Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu – Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
  • Dr. Jumoke Oduwole – Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment (Trade and Investment)
  • Idi Maiha – Minister of Livestock Development
  • Yusuf Ata – Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development
  • Dr. Suwaiba Ahmad – Minister of State for Education

In a recent cabinet reshuffle on October 23, President Tinubu reassigned ten ministers to new portfolios, discharged five others, and nominated seven new ministers for Senate confirmation.
