The Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Tunji Alausa, has dispelled concerns about President Bola Tinubu’s whereabouts, stating that his absence from the country is not due to medical reasons.

Tinubu has been away from Nigeria since attending the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia, sparking speculation about his health. However, Alausa assured Nigerians that the President is “well and healthy” and “leading the country in the right direction.”

In an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, Alausa emphasized that the government is focused on developing a healthcare system for all Nigerians, not just the President. He also revealed that Tinubu receives some medical care in Nigeria, without providing further details.

The Minister’s statement aims to alleviate concerns about Tinubu’s health and reassure Nigerians that the President is capable of leading the country effectively.
