The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute has confirmed that H.E. Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, will attend and deliver a keynote address at the upcoming FII PRIORITY Asia Summit, scheduled for 30 November to 1 December 2025 in the Japanese capital, Okay News reports.

This year’s edition, themed “The New Asia”, is expected to gather more than 1,000 global leaders across government, business, investment, technology, and civil society. The Institute describes the summit as a pivotal moment that reflects the world’s shifting strategic focus, as major dialogue on prosperity, innovation, and human impact increasingly moves from West to East.

Governor Koike’s participation follows her widely praised contribution at FII9 in Riyadh, where she outlined Tokyo’s ambition to re-establish itself as Asia’s leading international financial and innovation hub. She is expected to expand on that agenda in Tokyo, highlighting ongoing efforts to attract global capital, world-class talent, and disruptive technologies.

The FII Institute also announced an impressive list of confirmed high-level speakers for the summit. They include H.E. Yasir O. Al Rumayyan, Governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the FII Institute’s Board of Trustees, H.E. Matteo Renzi, Senator and former Prime Minister of Italy, Masayoshi Son, Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Group Corp., Masahiro Kihara, President and Group CEO of Mizuho Financial Group, and Akihiro Fukutome, President and CEO of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Other notable speakers include Hiromi Yamaji, Group CEO of Japan Exchange Group, Ivan Espinosa, President and CEO of Nissan Motor, Haruki Satomi, President and Group CEO of SEGA SAMMY Holdings, Kanetsugu Mike, Chairman of the Board of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Laura M. Cha of the Rockefeller Foundation and the Bretton Woods Committee, and Emilie Bodoin, Founder and CEO of Pure Lithium Corporation.

Okay News reports that the FII PRIORITY Asia Summit forms a core part of the Institute’s global PRIORITY series, which focuses on translating strategic dialogue into real-world impact. This year’s program will explore Asia’s expanding role in shaping global economic growth, investment flows, and technological innovation.

Discussions will span future cities, capital markets, green transition, disruptive technology, and the future of work, with a commitment to outcomes that advance people, protect the planet, and unlock shared prosperity.
