Transcorp Hotels Plc, the esteemed hospitality subsidiary of Transcorp Group, reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by hosting a special tree planting ceremony on the occasion of World Environment Day.

This significant event took place at the iconic Transcorp Hilton Abuja and witnessed the gracious presence of Tony Elumelu, CFR, Chairman of Transcorp Group. Mr. Elumelu, a staunch advocate for environmental preservation, personally planted a tree on the hotel premises, symbolizing the pivotal role of trees in mitigating the effects of climate change.

World Environment Day, celebrated annually on the 5th of June, stands as a global initiative aimed at fostering worldwide awareness and inspiring action to safeguard our environment.
