FC Augsburg have completed the signing of Felix Götze from FC Bayern on a four year deal until 30th June 2022. The details of the transfer have been left undisclosed by both clubs.
“We’re delighted to have such a talented, young player in Felix Götze at Augsburg. He is very eager to learn and already well trained. So we believe he is ready to make his next step as a professional with us”, said general sporting manager, Stefan Reuter.
“I have been following Augsburg closely and have seen how much faith they put in young players. So I think the move to Augsburg is perfect and the best way for me to further develop as much as possible,” said a thrilled Felix Götze.
The defender moved to FC Bayern München from Borussia Dortmund’s academy. Last season he made the first-team squad four times and made 19 appearances in the Regionalliga Bayern.
