Hoffenheim complete the signing of Vincenzo Grifo from Borussia Mönchengladbach on a four-year deal until 2022.
Grifo joined Mönchengladbach last summer after plundering 20 goals in 55 games for the Black Forest club. Injuries restricted the former Italy youth international to just 17 outings at the Borussia Park, but TSG director of football Alexander Rosen is confident Grifo can rediscover the form of old.

“It feels a bit like coming home,” he said. “I still remember my first Bundesliga match in the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, and I can hardly describe how much I’m burning to get back in action here. We have an exciting year ahead with a special challenge.”
Grifo could feature in the pre-season friendly against Unterhaching as soon as Friday.
