The Benue State National and State Legislative Election Petition Tribunal has discovered anomalies in the senatorial election of ex senate president David Mark.

According to New Telegraph, the tribunal picked holes in the certified true copies of result forms produced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to justify the election of former Senate President, David Mark in the March 28 poll.

The tribunal held that the copies produced by INEC does not reflect the actual incidence at the March 28 poll for the Benue South senatorial district.

The Justice Dipeolu Mosumola-led tribunal therefore ordered the commission to produced the certified true copies of result forms used in the election during its next sitting.

Daniel Onjeh of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is challenging the victory of Mark at the election.
