United States President Donald Trump has said he is uncertain about his chances of making heaven, despite believing that he has positively impacted many lives during his time in office.

Trump made this statement during an interview at the White House, aired by Fox News on Monday. The discussion took an interesting turn when Fox News journalist Peter Doocy asked him about a previous remark he made, suggesting that ending the war in Ukraine might “help him get into heaven.”

“You had talked a couple of weeks ago, you were doing an interview, and you mentioned that you hoped to end the war in Ukraine because it might help you get into heaven. How does this help? Does this help?” Doocy asked.

Responding with a smile, Trump said he had doubts about his chances of entering heaven. “I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t,” he said.

He continued humorously, “I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven.”

Despite his remarks, the president added that he took pride in improving people’s lives. “But I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people,” Trump added.

Okay News reports that Trump’s statement has sparked widespread conversation online. Many supporters viewed it as typical of his sense of humor and self-deprecating wit, while critics saw it as reflective of his moral and political self-awareness.

The comments have since gone viral, drawing mixed reactions across social media platforms. Some interpreted them as a light-hearted joke, while others described them as revealing Trump’s personal view on his faith and legacy.

Trump has often combined humor with serious commentary during interviews, a style that continues to attract both praise and criticism from political observers.
