Donald Trump, the former US President, has just launched a cryptocurrency platform called World Liberty Financial, alongside his sons and entrepreneurs. This platform aims to provide decentralized financial services, eliminating the need for intermediaries like banks.

The project will utilize block chain technology, enabling secure and transparent transactions.

Key Features of World Liberty Financial are listed below.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi): Allows users to lend or borrow cryptocurrencies peer-to-peer.

Stablecoins: Primarily used to minimize fluctuations, as they’re backed by traditional currencies like the US dollar.

Token-based Governance: Owners of tokens will have voting rights in platform decisions.

Accessibility: Designed to attract the masses to cryptocurrencies, making it easily accessible.

Donald Trump Jr. hailed this as “the start of a financial revolution” during the platform’s launch on X (formerly Twitter).

Interestingly, Trump’s stance on crypto currencies has shifted; he previously called Bitcoin a scam but now presents himself as a “pro-bitcoin president”.
