Two Rescued as Light Aircraft Crashes in Lagos

In a concerning incident, a light aircraft crash occurred in the Oba Akran area of Ikeja in Lagos State.

The accident took place while the aircraft was flying through the area, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).

As the news unfolded, NEMA’s Lagos Office confirmed that two people have been successfully rescued from the crash site.

Both individuals are reported to have sustained varying degrees of injuries.

However, the agency provided reassuring news, stating that no fatalities have been recorded as of the latest update.

Upon investigating the incident further, NEMA reached out to the Control Tower at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport to gather more details.

According to the airport’s Control Tower, only two people were onboard the aircraft at the time of the crash.
