The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of a student of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

The deceased, a 100-level student of veterinary medicine, was murdered on Friday.

Circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear but the police have launched an investigation into the matter.

The state police spokesman, ASP Mukhtar Aliyu, made these disclosures while confirming the death on Tuesday.

“We have arrested two suspects over the killing of the ABU student.

“One was arrested on Sunday while another was arrested on Monday,” he said.
