Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have defeated USA in the quarter-finals of the ongoing India 2022 U-17 Women’s World Cup on Friday.
The Flamingos defeated the US on penalty to reach the semi-final.
After a 1-1 draw, the Nigerian women team beat their US opponent 4-3 on the penalty.
