Uju Kennedy Expresses Gratitude After Removal as Minister of Women Affairs

Following her sack as Minister of Women Affairs, Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has issued a letter expressing her gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in the Federal Executive Council.

In the letter, dated October 24, 2024, shared via her social media pages, Kennedy described her time in office as an honor and privilege, thanking the president for entrusting her with the responsibility of contributing to Nigeria’s development.

“I write to express my sincere gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the opportunity to serve as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It has been an honor and a privilege to contribute to the development of our Nation,” she stated.

Kennedy also extended her appreciation to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s First Lady, acknowledging her support and guidance throughout her tenure.

“I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for her invaluable guidance and support during my tenure as Minister of Women Affairs. Her kindness and encouragement have been instrumental to my success.”

In her message to Nigerians, Kennedy expressed deep gratitude for the trust and confidence placed in her by the public during her time in office.

“To the people of Nigeria, I am deeply grateful for your unwavering support. Your trust and confidence in me have been a constant source of inspiration.”

Kennedy concluded by reaffirming her commitment to serving the country in whatever capacity she can in the future, stating her dedication to contributing to Nigeria’s progress and prosperity.
