Umar Namadi of APC declared Winner of Jigawa State Governorship Election by INEC

Umar Namadi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the governorship election held on March 18 in Jigawa State by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to INEC, Namadi emerged victorious after scoring 618,449 votes to defeat his closest rivals, Mustafa Lamido of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 368,726 and Aminu Ringim of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) who got 37,156 votes.
