Washington, D.C., United State – The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has strongly criticised several prominent conservative media figures who have voiced opposition to his ongoing military conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a lengthy message posted on social media on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the president described his former supporters as individuals seeking attention and called them trouble makers. The targets of his criticism include independent podcasters Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones. These four individuals have publicly condemned the president for abandoning his promises to avoid foreign wars and have suggested that the administration launched the military campaign due to pressure from the State of Israel.
As Okay News reports, this public disagreement highlights a growing division within the Republican Party regarding the foreign policy of the United States of America. This split among conservative voters presents a potential political challenge for the president and his political party ahead of the midterm elections scheduled for November 2026.
“They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!” President Trump wrote in a statement of nearly five hundred words.
He further stated, “They don’t have what it takes, and they never did! They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some ‘free’ and cheap publicity.”
The president also attacked the individuals personally. He mocked Tucker Carlson for not having a university degree. He stated that Alex Jones deserved his previous bankruptcy, which occurred after Alex Jones lost a civil lawsuit for claiming a school shooting was fabricated. Additionally, President Trump referenced a past dispute with Megyn Kelly during his first presidential campaign when she worked for the Fox News television network. He recalled that she “nastily asked me the now famous” question regarding his comments about women.
President Trump also targeted Candace Owens, who is thirty six years old, after she claimed that Brigitte Macron, the First Lady of the French Republic, was born male. President Trump wrote, “Actually, to me, the First Lady of France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace, in fact, it’s not even close!”
In response, Candace Owens posted on the social media platform X, stating, “It may be time to put Grandpa up in a home.”
Alex Jones also responded on the same platform, declaring that he no longer supports the president. He added, “The new Trump is a rotting husk of the old Trump.”
