Unknown gunmen in Nasarawa State have abducted a Syrian engineer identified as Mah Nagor.

Nagor was reportedly kidnapped on Monday, March 9, at a site in Azara in the Awe Local Government Area of the state.

He is said to be a staff of Rims Construction Company, a firm which is handling the construction of rural roads in the area.

Nagor’s abduction has been confirmed by the Nasarawa State Police Command.

Command spokesperson, Ismalia Numan stated that detectives had been deployed to rescue the Syrian and that they would work round-the-clock to secure his release.
